Narrow lane in the village on Shiroka Laka in southern Bulgaria
Shiroka Laka, located close to the posh skiing region of Pamporovo, lost most of its economic sustenance after the mining industry in the region closed down for good after the fall of the communist regime. Now only domestic tourism creates some income for the population, other perspectives are not in view.
I took this shots on a busy weekend with crowds of city folk strolling along the main street. So some stretching and a lot of patience was necessary to avoid having an elbow or a head in the frame.
